The results of implementing the missions of IMPE Quy Nhon in 2015 - an important impetus towards the 40th anniversary of the Institute
On 31st December 2015, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) held the conference on reviewing and evaluating the Institute's activities implementation in 2015 and setting up the workplan in 2016. The results obtained this year are considered as an important landmark towards the 40th anniversary of the Institute establishment (1977-2017). The conference on reviewing and evaluating the Institute's activities implementation in 2015 has appreciated the Institute's achievements in the prevention of malaria, parasitic and vector-borne diseases in Central Vietnam. on behalf of the Institute leadership, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Director has delivered the specific report of the Institute's activities and patriotic emulation movements. Especially in the professional work, the malaria morbidity in 2015 reduced by 45.56% and malaria mortality reduced by 66.67% (only 1 death). These rates are the lowest ones among that of previous years and are considered as one of the highlights of the achievements towards the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute in the coming times (8 March 1977 - 8 March 2017).
