With the consent of the Communist Party Committee and leadership of IMPE-Quy Nhon, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Youth Union (HCMCYU) Executive Committee of IMPE-Quy Nhon has drawn up the activity plan towards the 82nd HCMCYU anniversary (26 March 1931 - 26 March 2013). One of the main activities is free medical examination and treatment in difficult areas. In the morning of 22nd March 2013, the IMPE-Quy Nhon HCMCYU in coordination with Quy Nhon city's Police HCMCYU made a volunteer trip to Canh Thuan commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province, including the activities of medical examination, free drug provision, environmental sanitation, legal and health education and communication. In this volunteer trip, the Institute Youth Union chose 18 members, among of them were physicians, doctors and technicians who had responsibility for examining, taking blood smears, and giving free medicine to 150 people; they also presented 8 gift packages including rice, cooking oil, glutamate, etc. to difficult households. After the voluntary examination, the HCMCYU members cooperated with the local young people to do environmental sanitation in Ca-te village, thereby improving the people's awareness of their surrounding environment. By means of the voluntary activities, the HCMCYU members have heightened their responsibility to the community and sympathized with the local people's difficulties. Simultaneously, these activities have also showed the aggressive and voluntary roles of the youth, actively contributing to the construction of the national unity and helping the youths to complete their specialised capacity and sense of responsibility to the society.
