Physiochemical and microbiological laboratories of IMPE Quy Nhon recognized to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards (03/18/2014)

On October 2013, the laboratories of physiochemical and microbiological analysis, belonging to the Molecular Biological Department of IMPE Quy Nhon, were certified to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards, contributing to the service of the food hygience and safety in the health sector.


Leaders of IMPE-QN paying visit and working with Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces after Storm No.10 (10/07/2013)

October 3rd, 2013, leaders of the IMPE-QN paid a visit and worked with the Quang Binh Provincial Malaria Control Center. The Storm No. 10 hit Quang Binh province at 14 o'clock o­n Septepber 24th, 2013, which caused serious damage to the local people: three people reportedly died, dozens injured, hundreds of houses had roof-tops blown up, and numerous hectares of rubber trees chopped down.


IMPE-Quy Nhon visiting, giving presents to families in preferential treatment policy and providing voluntary medical examination and treatment for the people in Vinh Kim commune, Vinh Thanh district, Binh Dinh province (08/16/2013)

Implementing the Decree No.45/ND-CP dated 18th April 2006 of the Government o­n Gratitude Movement, Document No. 2237/UBND/VX dated 14th June 2013 of the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee of Binh Dinh o­n contribution and establishment of Gratefulness Fund, o­n the occasion of the 66th War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the IMPE-Quy Nhon has carried out the gratitude activities for people deserving well of the revolution and their relation at Vinh Kim commune, Vinh Thanh province.


Deputy Minister of Health visits and works with IMPE-Quy Nhon (04/01/2013)

On 14 March 2013 the Ministry of Health's (MoH) task force led by Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thanh Long-Deputy Minister visited and worked with the IMPE-Quy Nhon. Accompanying the Deputy Minister were the leaderships and representatives of MoH's Departments of Organization & Personnel, Preventive Medicine, Health care Management, Planning & Finance, Medical Equipments & Projects and the MoH's Office.


Warning of malaria increase in Central Vietnam in the first months of 2013 (01/18/2013)

In 2012, the malaria situation were rather complicated in the Central - Western Highland region. The statistics of the regional provinces showed that malaria cases in 11 months of 2012 in the Central - Western Highland region increased by 7.55% in comparison with the same period last year (15,040/16,176), with the Central Coastal area +5.93% (7296/7973) higher, and the West Highlands +9.28% up (7744/8203).
