In order to have updates on malaria situation in the field and find out difficulties and challenges in malaria prevention and elimination, on May 17, 2022, a collaborative mission between the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) and World Health Organization (WHO) Representative's Office to Viet Nam visited and worked at the Heath Center of Krong Pa district (HC-KP), Gia Lai province.
On May 9th 2022, a delegation of experts from the US Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU-2) visited and worked at the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) with the purpose of exchanging information on joint research programs in the field of research and treatment of malaria as well as other infectious diseases.
On February 24, 2020, IMPE-Quy Nhon held a scientific seminar on "Application of Cold Plasma technology in the elimination of corona and parasites in Vietnam" for the Institute staff.
