Viêm da do động vật chân khớp Demodex brevisDemodex folliculorum ở người hiện đang là căn bệnh khá phổ biến và thường gặp trong thực hành lâm sàng bệnh do ký sinh trùng, bệnh da liễu và bệnh lây truyền quan đường tình dục. Bệnh nhân thường được chẩn đoán muộn sau khi đã điều trị nhiều nơi với nhiều bệnh lý khác nhau như nhiễm ký sinh trùng, nhiễm vi nấm, dị ứng mỹ phẩm, dị ứng chất ăn mòn, viêm da cơ địa, trứng cá đỏ, viêm da dầu, viêm da cơ địa,…sau đó mới nhận ra là viêm da do Demodex spp.

Nhằm chia sẻ thông tin chẩn đoán sớm và điều trị kịp thời, chúng tôi xin chia sẻ các công trình nghiên cứu đã được công bố trên y văn trong thời gian vừa qua về lịch sử phát hiện, dịch tễ học, chẩn đoán, điều trị và quản lý ca bệnh trên toàn cầu để các đồng nghiệp cũng đọc.
