On 7^th March 2017, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE Quy Nhon) celebrated the 40^th Anniversary (March 8, 1977 - March 8, 2017) in a solemn and warm atmosphere.

Experiencing forty years of development (1977-2017), the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN), o­ne of 13 preventive medicine institutes directly under the Ministry of Health (MoH), has actively contributed in the achievement of the Preventive Medicine of Vietnam during 60 years of innovation and development (1956-2016).

On 5th July 2016, a delegation of learders of Quy Nhon University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City and University of Paris 7 (France) led by  Professor Nguyen Hong Anh, Principal of Quy Nhon University was visiting to and meeting with the leadership of Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) with the purpose of seeking the potential training cooperation for the project of establishing Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Quy Nhon University.

In the morning of May 17, 2016, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) gave a warm reception to the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), operating through the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation in Vietnam.

On 31st December 2015, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) held the conference o­n reviewing and evaluating the Institute's activities implementation in 2015 and setting up the workplan in 2016. The results obtained this year are considered as an important landmark towards the 40th anniversary of the Institute establishment (1977-2017).
